Are you thinking long-term in your network marketing business or short-term?
In this post I want to help you with some tips for thinking long term about your business
First off ,you want to begin thinking about where you will be in 1 year , 5 years and 7-10 years?
Most of us can think about where we want to be in a day or a month. We might be able to think 6 months ahead but you really need to have a long term commitment to your business.
Do you consider investing in yourself and your business? Do you have a budget for investing in yourself and your business? How about money set aside for coaching and self development? Attending company events? How about a budget for purchasing product for you to use yourself to help develop your product story? What about third party tools and advertising to reach your business into a larger market?
Which list is bigger? Your hot and warm market or all the other markets?
That was a bit of a funny question because obviously all the other markets are a larger audience. The list of people you do not know yet is quite larger. If you are a long term thinker you will want to create a cold market strategy and learn how to connect and relate to new people so that you can grow your business into new markets.
As a long term thinker you want to schedule time for your business weekly. If you are part time you will want to schedule in a minimum of 8-12 hours a week that you work your business. This has to be a focused and undistracted time of working that you are commited to no matter what happens.
If you are not already, begin to think long term. Think beyond a month or two. Create a long term business plan with goals and a strategy to be here in three to five years from today and you will be amazed at where you are at.
Just remember in the beginning you will be grossly overworked and grossly underpaid but if you stick with it you will get to the point where you are grossly underworked and grossly overpaid. You will have the opportunity to help so many people on the way and you will be amazed at who you become along the way of building your networking marketing business.
